Employment
Since graduation from university (Summer 2006):
- I have worked as a self-employed freelance web designer.
- I am currently expanding my web design skills by teaching myself PHP and dynamic data-orientated web design.
- I travelled around Europe for the best part of 3 months, and am currently writing up a journal
based on these experiences.
- Recently I have been developing my photography and writing skills with a view to my future career. I recently had a camera review published in What Digital Camera.

- For last 6 months I also looked after the electronics department, which required organisation, enhanced responsibility and maturity. Also included training other staff how to man the department.
Skills
I am friendly and confident and have good communication skills. I work efficiently and can adapt and enjoy working both individually and as a reliable member of a team. I am enthusiastic and can work well in pressurised situations such as meeting important deadlines.
I have a good eye for style and design and pride myself on being a quick, intelligent learner who is able to use initiative efficiently.
I have a keen interest in the use of Information Technology and many computer skills:
- Advanced knowledge of raw code HTML, word processing (MS Word), all aspects of general and specific computer use and excellent typing skills
- Good knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel), databases (MS Access), graphics packages (Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop) and web animation (Flash)
- Understanding of many other aspects including JavaScript, networking, etc.
Hobbies
Computing, photography, writing, music, sports, reading, socialising, cinema, journalism, literature, comedy.
Importantly, I enjoy creating websites - it is a passion of mine, and not just a means to a source of income, a distinction which shows through in the pride and perfection I construct each site with.
