• For the final 6 months I also looked after the electronics department, which required organisation, enhanced responsibility and maturity, and also included training other staff how to man the department.

I am friendly and confident and have good communication skills. I work efficiently and can adapt and enjoy working both individually and as a reliable member of a team. I am enthusiastic and can work well in pressurised situations such as meeting important deadlines.

I believe I have an excellent ‘way with words’. My education has primarily focused on writing, and has included working on everything from reviews, guides, essays, analyses, presentations and so on. I am able to adapt my style of writing to suit an audience, be it technical or casual.

I have a good eye for style and design, and would consider myself to enjoy a useful mix of analytic and creative persuasion.

I consider myself a quick, intelligent learner who is able to use initiative sensibly.

I operate to extremely rigorous self-standards, often my own worst critic, ensuring that any task is completed to the most thorough and precise detail, resulting in output that I am happy and proud to put my name to.

This sentiment is easily visible in my web design; I enjoy my work, it is a passion of mine, and I never see it as solely a source of income, a distinction which shows through in the pride and completeness I construct each site with.

I have a vibrant interest in the use of Information Technology and many computer skills:

• Advanced knowledge of raw code web design (HTML and CSS), word processing (Word), Internet and e-mail operation, all aspects of general computer use (Windows), and excellent typing skills/speed
• Good knowledge of graphics packages (Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, Fireworks), web animation (Flash), spreadsheets (Excel), and databases (Access)
• Familiarity and understanding of many other aspects of IT, including web programming (JavaScript, PHP, MySQL), networking, etc.

I am a keen writer and photographer, and continue to develop these abilities both as a hobby and to compliment future employment positions.
