Sarah Bell Sarah Bell is an artist and art tutor from Devon, UK, Her colourful site packs a lot of information, both visual and textual, into its borders, and yet remains easy to navigate and appreciate. Numerous shades of purple are used to create a flowing colour scheme. A layered two-tier menu system allows for almost 50 pages to be directly available for access from all other pages without taking up lots of valuable screen space. Clever and efficient PHP scripts offer mailing list subscriptions, and the ability to 'e-mail a friend' a link to any of the website pages. http://www.watercolourworkshops.co.uk C20 Vintage Fashion C20 Vintage Fashion is a clothing collective offering vintage garments for sale and hire to leading fashion designers, boutiques, exhibitors, and individual collectors. The site's design allows for each garment to be visually well represented and textually described all on one page. The clean black and white layout allows each colourful photo to grab the user's full focus. The attention to detail and precise balance between pictures and text in such situations is essential in an industry such as fashion. C20 continue to enjoy success and have recently worked with Kate Moss, the Daily Telegraph and Carlton Books. http://www.c20vintagefashion.co.uk One to One English One to One English is a fast growing and well respected language school based in London's stylish Covent Garden, teaching English as a foreign language to students from all over the world. The design of the site is particularly page-specific, and ranges from menu-style pages dominated by large pictures, to informative pages based on tabular designs displaying essential details at an instant. Much of the site was developed to very specific standards, in order for the on-screen representations of information such as course details to closely match the school's hard-copy literature. http://www.onetooneenglish.co.uk
